Join the SBCA at our Fire & Ice Family Day event
What is Fire & Ice? It’s a skating and bonfire party at McCowan District Park!
Sit by the fire and roast marshmallows, drink some hot chocolate to warm up. Skate the trail or play a little shinny. We’ll also have the Jumbo Jenga and Corn Hole games for you to play!
We’ll also have live music, featuring: Joe Cash , Bill Black, Jennie Foster, and Neil Jones & Lora Ryan.
Thanks also goes to this year’s sponsors.
Please note there are no skate rentals at the park but there is a washroom and place to change. There are also skate aids at the park.
Shinny schedule is set by the City of Toronto and is as follows:
Child with Caregiver (up to 8 yrs) 10am-12pm
Child with Caregiver (9-12 yrs) 12-2pm
Adult (19yrs and over) 2-4pm
Youth (13 – 18yrs) 4-6pm
Skating Trail is (as usual) open to all for the entire day.
