Family Day Hikes and Scavenger Hunt 2022

Enjoy all The Bluffs has to offer!

This year when we were planning Fire & Ice for Family Day, Omicron closed everything down. We weren’t sure if we’d be able to book permits and decided to revisit out Family Day Hike and Scavenger hunt as a way to explore our community, and spend time with your family!

We have a number of beautiful areas to hike in and hopefully you’ll find something new!

Some hikes are easy and accessible, others are a bit more challenging. You may chose to enter the scavenger hunt as well. We’ll have a random draw for prizes for those that send in photos/videos.

Scarborough Arts, Trades & Family Festival

Join us Sept 14th as we co-host the 1st Annual Scarborough Arts, Trades & Family Festival. With our co-hosts Birchmount Community Centre and Scarborough Arts, we aim to bring a celebration to our wonderful community through art, vendors and food.

Family-friendly

There will be plenty for kids to do as well. The Birchmount Family Festival will be taking place at the same time. Bouncy castles and face painting are only the beginning. We’ll also have games and prizes and lots of fun! We’ll feature more activities as they get added.

Trade Show

The Trade Show will feature over 50 local artisans, crafters, restaurants, businesses and community groups. Artists, artisans and crafters will include artists from Scarborough Arts, Mishelle’s Boutique, Wilf Wiedmark, Omo Bamboo Shop, Lake O, Nia’s Nursery and more. Local retailers and service providers include Team Tony Mauro Real Estate, Drape Master, and Cormack and Crisafi.

The trade show concept came from SBCA’s own Jack Henry, Principal at OmniWorx Inc., a local design firm:

“Although I wanted to buy local for both products and services, I didn’t know what was available in my community. I thought that an event like this would not only help local businesses promote themselves but also give community members a way to find out what’s out there in their local community.”

Scarborough Sign

Finally, we will have the amazing Scarborough Arts “Scarborough Sign”! Grab a selfie and post on social media with #SATFF and we’ll share it!

There’s something for everyone at The Scarborough Arts, Trades & Family Festival, so bring the whole family!
